The story of Lady Day, from her miserable youth, court, reform school, working in brothels, raped, prostitution , she found the light in singing jazz in clubs, then she became billie Holiday, met lester "prez" young, records session at columbia, becoming the first black singer in a white orchestra, wearing gardenias to cover her burned hairs, strange fruit and segregation then going down because of drugs and alcohol, her loyal dog "Mister", arguing with her mother Duchess for dollards, prison, banned from clubs and finishing at 44 completely ruined but having completely changed the jazz history.
